Music events (2008 - 2013)

Description

This was my first entrepreneurial experience, freshly out of high school. I was working a full-time office job and in my spare time I enjoyed going to concerts and festivals. That's where I, together with a close friend, saw a problem and quickly put together a solution.
Neither of us had a driving license, nor a vehicle. So going to concerts and festivals (outside of our hometown) often required a lot of planning and coordination to be able to catch the right train, bus, or various combinations also including friends of friends picking us up at whatever station.
We knew were not alone. And we knew that many people were missing out, unable to attend events because they didn't have proper means of transportation.
So we decided to rent a bus (with driver, of course!), spread the word, and get people to come to concerts and festivals with us. Through partnering with bigger festivals, we then managed to provide event tickets to our passengers as well, ensuring that they would get fair and affordable prices.
Through time, we also started adding accessory services like camping tents rentals, the first providing such service to festivals in Slovenia.
At the same time, we started organizing concerts in our hometown, which served the purposes of creating a stronger sense of community, as well as promoting our travel business.
