Volunteering (library) (2023 - ...)

Description

I have started volunteering at the Lafleche Public Library in January 2023, starting a tech support program that constributed to the increased number of patrons visiting the library.
I became a member and was elected Chairperson of the Library Board shortly after. In this role, I am contributing to improving processes related to day-to-day operations of the library, producing reports, and analyzing data.
I have also been involved with writing projects and submitting grants applications (7 grants in the first 5 months of 2023).

Duties and responsibilities

1. Organizing and running a tech support program.
2. Writing projects and applying for grants.
3. Planning and running tech-related workshops and events.
4. Helping with setting up and running cultural events held at the library.
5. Chair board meetings.
6. Make purchases and track expenses.
7. Network with community members to help organize and promote library events and initiatives.
