IT solutions for lawyers (2014 - 2017)

Description

Towards the end of 2013, shortly after graduating from university in my hometown, I came across an opportunity in another city: Alessandria, in north-western Italy.
Alessandria is the Italian city with the highest concentration of lawyers and around that time a new law had passed, forcing lawyers to use a specific kind of software to exchange documents with the courts.
This new requirement was not followed by proper training or tools made availabe to lawyers, which resulted in many small firms and lawyers working independently, to struggle because they could not keep up with the technology.
That's how I decided to move and start a new business, providing IT solutions to small and medium law firms, helping them navigate the options available to them and comply with legal requirements.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Conducted on-site visits with clients, reviewing and analyzing their issues to assess their needs, provided IT support, including troubleshooting, and solving technical problems and follow-ups.
2. Installed, diagnosed, repaired, maintained, and upgraded PC equipment and software.
3. Worked at fast-paced helpdesk and provided technical support to end-users by phone, email and remotely; went above and beyond clients’ expectations.
